In Class B Alden will try to end Cheektowaga's unbeaten season. The Warriors are making just their second appearance at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Alden started fast, hit a couple of bumps in the road and got back on track in the playoff beating East Aurora and Depew.
Former Albion coach Dick Diminuco's team is led by quarterback Tyler Stoldt and big tight end Christian Barcykowski.
Cheektowaga has been able to run on everybody. Fullback Julian Davis has great power and speed and has made a habit of breaking long scoring runs. Teammate Nick McLean brings great versatility and this time around, good health into the championship game.
Scott Zipp's Warriors are ranked number two in the state while Alden is ranked 20th.
