Randolph holds off defending state champion Maple Grove to win the Section VI Class D Championship.
The Cardinals struck first in the 1st quarter on a seven yard TD run by QB Mike Maycock.
The Red Dragons would respond tieing the score at seven on a 65 yard TD pass from Chris Secky to Gage Milliman.
Randolph would take a commanding 21-7 lead into the 4th quarter behind 2 TD runs from Matt Hettenbaugh.
Secky would lead Maple Grove back late engineering two drives resulting in short TD runs for Taylor Rosenberg. The second coming with under two minutes to play to cut the lead to one. However, Secky would miss the extra point keeping the Cardinals in the lead.
Randolph would recover the onside kick attempt and hold on for the dramatic win.
