Randolph is headed for the Class D New York State Championship game in Syracuse next weekend. The Cardinals beat Groton 61 to 8 in the state semis Friday night.
The Cardinals won again without throwing a pass. The Cardinals literally ran all over an overmatched Groton team.
Matt Hettenbaugh ran 15 times for 166 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 11.1 yards per carry. Alan Lockwood had 11 times for 76 yards and and two touchdowns.
